About us
We make it here, and we answer the phone.
Embroidery, printing and uniforms for the businesses, schools and clubs around us. Everything is decorated in our own shop, quoted in about 24 hours, and proofed before anything is made.

Our story
A real shop, with real people in it.
Rico & Stitch started in 2014 with one embroidery machine and a list of restaurants who were tired of waiting three weeks for six shirts.
We are still the shop that answers the phone. Everything is made here — the stitching, the printing, the pressing, the folding — which is why we can tell you honestly whether your date is realistic instead of guessing on a supplier's behalf.
The group-order tool came out of the same place. We watched too many managers front hundreds of dollars, chase sizes in a group chat, and end up sorting shirts on a kitchen table. That is a problem software can actually fix, so we fixed it.
Draft copy. The founding date and the details of this story are still with the client for confirmation.
Our promises
What we hold ourselves to.
Four things you can hold us to, rather than four adjectives about ourselves.
We tell you when we are the wrong choice
If your job would be better, cheaper or faster somewhere else — or on a different method — we will say so. We would rather lose one order than sell you the wrong one.
Nothing prints until you approve it
Nothing prints until you approve it. You get a digital proof showing size, placement and colors, and you can ask for changes as many times as you need.
The price you are quoted is the price
Setup fees, upcharges and rush charges are all on the quote before you agree to anything. No line item shows up later that you have not already seen.
A person picks up the phone
Talk to a real person: (800) 123-4567. Not a form, not a ticket queue, and not somebody reading from a script in another time zone.
The people
Who you will be dealing with.
A small shop, so you tend to speak to the same few people from quote to delivery.
Owner
Quotes anything unusual, and the person you get if something has gone wrong.
Art & proofs
Redraws your logo, digitizes it, and sends the proof you sign off on.
Embroidery
Runs the machines, picks the backing, and matches the thread to your colors.
Print floor
Burns the screens, mixes ink, and presses every transfer by hand.
Production scheduling
Owns your date. The one who tells you honestly whether a rush is possible.
Finishing & shipping
Sorts, folds, bags and labels — including by name on a group order.
Names and photographs go here once the client has confirmed who they want listed. We are not inventing colleagues in the meantime.
Inside
Inside the shop.
Everything is made here. Nothing is sent out and re-badged.
Hooped and ready for the next run
The thread wall
Sorted, bagged, labelled
Placeholder artwork. Photographs of the actual shop replace these before launch.
